Our General Session runs May 27-31, and will be held 9-5 daily in the facilities of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 601 W. Braker Lane in Austin. (Our heartfelt thanks to this church for providing an affordable location after our original location was sold!) This program is open to singers age 8-15, beginner to advanced. Cost is $300 per child for girls not already enrolled in Austin Girls’ Choir. No audition is required, but a brief placement session will occur at the start of camp so as to include girls in skill-appropriate groups. The music menu ranges from pop to light classical! Instruction includes vocal skills, note reading, basic harmony and fun songs with simple choreography. Guest artists will do one-hour sessions on various types of singing styles. Other camp activities will include stage presentation, arts and crafts, and a few surprises! An end-of-camp concert at 5 p.m. on May 31 lets the girls proudly share their accomplishments with friends and family. 30 places are available and will be filled as registration forms (AGC CAMPFORMS 2024) and payments are received. No audition is required for girls attending this camp.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, our advanced session, usually held in the same location the following week, is on hold. If a host location can be found, we will provide this camp either the week of June 25 or July 1. This day camp runs 9-5 daily, and is for highly advanced singers age 10-18 who plan to participate in concert tour during the week afterward. Cost is $300 per child for girls not already enrolled in Austin Girls’ Choir. An audition is required for any girl from outside the Choir wishing to participate in this challenging camp; the pace is rapid and expectations of each chorister are high. Participants must be able to read music well. All girls who will tour will also participate in the general camp. We will have a few run-out performances during the week, and carpool assistance is warmly welcomed! Camp ends with a 5:00 p.m. concert on Friday. We have 15 spaces available to girls not already in the Choir for this session. Please e-mail our director at sarabmcc@me.com to make a placement appointment; times are available through June 20.
Lunch and afternoon snack are provided at both camps! We welcome girls to audition to join Austin Girls’ Choir on the last day of each camp. A 20% camp tuition discount is available to groups of 5 or more from any one school. We look forward to another fun and inspiring pair of sessions!

¿Conoces a una niña que le encanta cantar? El Coro de niñas de Austin (Austin Girls’ Choir) tiene un campamento general muy divertido el 27-31 de mayo para niñas de edades 8-15, ninguna audición requerida. ¡Es una manera genial para intentar una variedad de estilos y ver cómo es cantar en un equipo! El coro canta un alcance amplia de música – jazz, Cancionero Americano, pop, música del mundo, números con danza, canciones de músicos de Austin, aun un poco de clásico ligero. Se añade un poco de coreografía a algunas de las canciones, también. Las niñas aprenden canciones en 2- a 5-partes de harmonía. Además, reciben clases (arregladas por edad o nivel de destrezas) en los básicos de leer música y teoría de música, arte, composición musical, presentar en escenario, y mucho más.
