AUSTIN GIRLS’ CHOIR DAY CAMPS

Our GENERAL SESSION runs June 1-5, and will be held 9-5 daily in the facilities of the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection in north central Austin, with a 5 pm concert on June 5. This program is open to singers age 8-15, beginner to advanced. Cost is $400 per child for girls not already enrolled in Austin Girls’ Choir.
This year, we would also like to offer a concurrent YOUNG SINGERS CAMP for girls ages 6-8 who are not yet ready for a full day of camp. We will do this if at least 5 will commit by May 20 (please contact us at office@girlschoir.com). Young Singers will attend 9 am-noon June 1-5, and will return at 3:45 pm on Friday, June 5 to warm up and participate in the 5:00 pm concert. They will have some songs of their own, plus get to sing some 3-part harmony songs with the General Camp girls. Cost is $200 per child.
No audition is required, but a brief placement session will occur at the start of camp so as to include girls in skill-appropriate groups. The music menu ranges from pop to light classical! Instruction includes vocal skills, note reading, basic harmony and fun songs with simple choreography. Guest artists will do one-hour sessions on various types of singing styles. Other camp activities will include stage presentation, arts and crafts, and a few surprises! An end-of-camp concert at 5 p.m. on June 5 lets the girls proudly share their accomplishments with friends and family.
30 places are available and will be filled as registration forms (AGC-CAMPFORMS-2026) and payments are received. No audition is required for girls attending this camp.
Lunch and afternoon snack are provided at camp for full-day campers! We welcome girls to audition to join Austin Girls’ Choir on the last day of each camp. A 15% camp tuition discount is available to groups of 5 or more from any one school, religious organization or Girl Scout troop. We look forward to another fun and inspiring pair of sessions!
